SER in Santa Fe offers a variety of programs intended to serve youth, adults and business throughout New Mexico. SER in collaboration with the Santa Fe Public School District serves high school age youth in the SER Career Academy, an alternative High School in Santa Fe. SER services are provided to children of teen parents in the SER Academy with an NAEYC accredited child development center and also a parenting education program for their parents. SER also operates dropout preventions programs in collaboration with ten other New Mexico Public School Districts. SER is also the WIA One Stop Contract in the Northern and Central areas of New Mexico, where it serves out-of-school youth, adults, dislocated workers and the business community.

The Early Childhood Education program continues to evolve and has two components that prepare children for success in school. We served 190 children with quality early childhood education services. The majority of our children are Hispanic, so services are presented in English and Spanish. Children who speak Spanish learn to speak English and children who speak English learn to speak Spanish.
We provide low-cost, high-quality childcare in a safe, caring and nurturing environment. We are a certified Texas Rising Star Provider and exceed the State of Texas minimum standards for childcare facilities. By providing affordable childcare, low to moderate income parents can work and sustain their families without dedicating a major portion of their income to childcare fees.

Mission of the Organization:
To provide literacy programs, workforce development programs, and other educational and cultural initiatives for underserved low and moderate-income immigrant, Hispanic/Latino youth and their families in their process of assimilation and acculturation allowing them to become productive members of society.
Most of DCET Hispanic/Latino clients are emerging leaders and individuals in need of education, and workforce development services and IRSS (Information & Referral to Social Services) through a network of other related non-profit corporations. DCET has helped at-risk students to remain in school, and graduated 789 (ESL and Computer Literacy) students, made many direct job placements while creating also many new jobs. DCET awarded over 40 internships to needy students who are from low and moderate income. Its successful Youth Mentoring program FAMA (Folkloric Arts Mentoring Amigos), so far has welcomed 721 youth to the program.
