Centro Latino’s mission is to create an environment in which the rapidly growing Latino community has opportunities allowing them to effectively participate in and contribute to the success of Pierce County.
The program’s Youth Services division provides opportunities that encourage youth to experience new things, take risks, interact with others, and develop self-esteem. The goal is to provide youth with the foundation necessary to be well rounded, contributing adults of the future. Centro Latino’s Family Services program strives to provide clients with services that help them address their basic needs, give them the information necessary to successfully adapt to life in Washington State, and encourage the growth and development of their families. And Centro Latino's Adult Education Services provides adult learners with opportunities that increase their basic skills. In addition to traditional instruction, students are provided with culturally- and linguistically- appropriate support that encourages them to achieve their goals.
